For local sightseeing, the 5th century BC Temple of Aphaia, an interesting ancient monument with wonderful views over the Saronic Gulf, is only 2 km. away. There are also a lot of historic monuments and sites of Aegina like the archaeological site of Kolona (Temple of Apollo) with Aegina’s museum, Kapralos Museum, Mount Oros, Aghios Nektarios Monastery, Moni Island and more...
